A Gwinnett County student is accused of bringing a knife to school and using it to rob another student.

This happened Friday at Berkmar High School on Pleasant Hill Road in Lilburn.

Investigators said the knife-wielding 10th grader tried to steal another student's cell phone while in the school bathroom.

The victim reportedly knocked away the knife, and the pair fought before an administrator broke it up.

The suspect is charged with armed robbery and possession of a weapon on school property.
