Families in the city of Stonecrest say they're tired of trash and illegal dumping.

Mayor Jason Lary met with dozens of residents Monday night.

His office shared these pictures with FOX 5 News. They show illegal dumping and litter.

Lary points to several problem spots including Covington Highway, Panola, and Fairington Roads as well as Mall Parkway near the Mall at Stonecrest.

The mayor wants to beef up code enforcement and encourage citizens and business owners to keep properties clean.

He also unveiled his plan to have a city-wide camera system supported by SPLOST funds to catch people littering in the act.
