Six Flags shows off new Georgia attraction

- FOX 5 News was the first TV station inside a super new attraction at Six Flags Over Georgia Wednesday.

Justice League: Battle for Metropolis is a high-tech, 4D thrill ride which features popular DC comic superheroes including Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman.

The ride is housed in a 22,000 square foot building; something park staffers say will be cool in more than one way.

“It’s hot in Georgia, we all know that, this ride, we feel, is a home run not only for the action and thrill part of the ride, but also the opportunity to be indoors and be with your family on a ride that’s second to none,” said Gene Petriello, Six Flags Over Georgia.

Builders said construction is on-schedule for an opening in late spring.

This upcoming season will be the 50th anniversary for Six Flags Over Georgia.
