Officers responded to the home in the 200 block of Bromack Drive around 3 a.m. Monday. They told FOX 5 News a gunman fired at least two shots at the house, but no one was hurt.

Detectives have no hard evidence connecting this morning's shooting to the fatal one that claimed the lives of 18-year-old Chloe Dowdy and 25-year-old Christopher Welch Sunday, but they are working under that assumption.

Around 7:30 Sunday morning a gunman shot both victims in the head. The teenager died at the scene, the man at the hospital.

Investigators think a fight broke out in the front bedroom, which led to the gunfire. Other people in the house fled to the back for safety. Police think the shooter wasn't related to the victims.

A driver happened to pass by as the male victim stumbled out of the house and called 911. Police found the teenage victim dead in the bedroom where she was shot.

Detectives collected evidence and shell casing from the scene.

They say witnesses saw a man running from the home after the shooting took place. Calling him a person of interest, officers are now trying to locate him. His name or description hasn't been released,
