CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. - A suspected car burglar is in custody after police say he attempted to run away from officers.
Clayton County Sheriff Victor Hill said that Tydarius Dometress Allen had tried to break into cars in the parking lot of the Nissan South Car Dealership at around 1 a.m. Sunday.
After a citizen called 911, Clayton County Police, the Sheriff's Office, and Morrow Police responded to the scene.
Police say Allen fled and was captured while trying to climb a fence.
"Being so exhausted from all of the running and climbing, Allen was given an executive suite at the 'Hill-ton' so that he could rest from his labor," Sheriff Hill said in a statement.
The Sheriff did not say what Allen would be charged with.
