Sheriff: Gainesville man arrested for molesting teen

HALL COUNTY, Ga. - Investigators with the Hall County Sheriff's Office arrested a man they say molested a teenager earlier this year.

Officials say Gainesville resident Jeffery Dean Boger abused a 15-year-old female victim at a home between December 2017 and January 2018.

After a months-long investigation, Boger was charged with aggravated sexual battery and child molestation.

Police say Boger and the victim knew each other.

Boger was arrested on Tuesday morning at his home on Wildwood Court.

He's now in custody in the Hall County Jail without bond.
