The family of a murdered teen has been hit with another tragedy.

DeKalb County Police said India Chapman was stabbed to death at the hands of her boyfriend Sincere Brown. Brown's relatives found the 17-year-old's lifeless body near Brown's grandfather's home on Biffle Road in Stone Mountain Friday.

FOX 5's Aungelique Proctor was heading over to interview Chapman's grandmother when fire broke out at Chapman's uncle's house in the city of South Fulton.

Three people were inside the house on James Madison Drive and described the fire which possibly started in the garage as an inferno.

"It's back to back. It's back to back. We are going to manage it. We got to stay strong for each other," Chapman's grandfather Timothy Grier commented.

Chapman's uncle, Rontavious Hill, received minor burns to the face and hair. He was rushed to Grady Hospital, but is expected to be fine.

The family has set up a GoFundMe account to help bury India. The 17-year-old was working on her GED and wanted to become a nurse.
