ATLANTA - A man was shot inside of a car in Atlanta and had to be rushed to Grady Hospital in serious condition. Police are now searching for a suspect.
Investigators captured surveillance photos of a suspect in the shooting. The incident reportedly began with a struggle inside of a vehicle Saturday afternoon at 1722 Campbellton Road in Southwest Atlanta.
That's when a gun went off and the 39-year-old victim was hit several times. Police say the victim ran from the car and the suspect drove away.
The vehicle has since been found and is being processed for evidence. But they need the public's help in identifying the alleged gunman.
Investigators are asking anyone with information on the shooting or anyone who can identify the suspect in the surveillance photos to come forward. Any information on the case can be submitted anonymously to the Crime Stoppers Atlanta tip line at 404-577-TIPS (8477) or online at www.crimestoppersatlanta.org. Persons do not have to give their name or any identifying information to be eligible for the reward of up to $2,000 for the arrest and indictment of the suspects.
