Ever since, the student-led group The Grady Pedestrian Safety Coalition has worked to make streets near schools safer.

Tuesday, they held a Safe Streets Rally at Grady High School.

Alexa's parents were there and spoke about some of the changes they hope to see.

The group held a memorial for Alexia after the rally.
