Milder weather on the way after winter storm

ATLANTA - Sunshine and temperatures in the 50s will melt most of the snow that's still in north Georgia today and whatever snow remains will be washed away by rain showers that will arrive on Tuesday.

Look for more showers on Wednesday before the sun gradually returns for Thursday and through next weekend.

Highs will eventually climb into the lower 60s by next weekend. A big change from the wintry weather that just slammed much of the the Southeast and the Mid-Atlantic!
