Purple Rain to play during Atlanta film festival
Calling all fans of the late Prince! Mark your calendar for May 14 at 7:30pm. Atlanta's Fox Theatre is hosting the Coca-Cola Summer Film Festival and will be showing "Purple Rain" on the big screen.
This is their Opening Night movie, celebrating Prince's legacy...and also marks exactly one month since his performance at the Fox Theatre.
Tickets are currently on sale and are $15 in advance or $20 day of the show (plus fees).
The wide screen is 26 feet high and more than 56 feet wide. Other films shown during the festival include "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," "Breakfast at Tiffany's," and "The Little Mermaid" sing-along.
