Protesters are calling for a boycott of the gas station where a DeKalb County Police officer struck a homeless woman who investigators said resisted arrest.

People chanted outside the Chevron in Decatur Monday night in support of Katie McCrary.

They said employees at the store should have called the police to report the officer and handed over surveillance video from the store.

The store manager said he and the owner did not even know about the incident until cell phone video surfaced.

The store manager said he does not condone what he sees in the video, he knows McCrary and has even given her food and money in the past.
