Demonstrators gathered outside Senator David Perdue's office for their own protest in support of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford.

As part of the protest, several survivors of sexual assault spoke about their own experiences.

In addition, protestors held a moment of silence at 12:30 p.m.

Participants said the event was about showing support not only for Ford but also for all victims of sexual assault.

The protestors also delivered messages to senator Perdue's officer encouraging him to vote against Brett Kavanaugh's nomination.
