GDOT treats roadways for winter weather
ATLANTA - The Georgia Department of Transportation isn't taking any chances when it comes to the potential for slick roads.
Crews continue to monitor the roads with brine trucks. They have been treating all of the major interstates and highways across north Georgia, including the metro Atlanta area.

“Definitely as a precaution; anything that might stick, won't stick that much by putting the brine on the roads,” said Annalysce Baker with GDOT.
GDOT said the main concern in the metro Atlanta area continues to be black ice. They urge drivers to be extra cautious.
