Pregnant pizza delivery driver talks about attack

The pregnant pizza delivery driver says she is horrified that her attacks have been released from custody and put back on the streets to harm others.

The 23-year-old old woman is 8 months pregnant and says she thought her unborn baby would die during the attack on Waits Avenue, off Burner Road last Wednesday.

"It is hard to describe. I was really in shock. They were trying to beat me…kill me. You don't just beat somebody up like that and you know I'm pregnant, and you start kicking my baby," the young mother said with tears in her eyes.

Atlanta Police said the teenage suspects who are charged with two pizza delivery attacks at the same vacant house, should not have been released and referred us to juvenile court for answers.

In a new development, Atlanta Police said the 16-year-old suspects will be tried as adults for the attacks.

The young mother who asked us not to show her face is grateful to Waits Avenue homeowner Dennis Madaris for stepping in to help.

"He saved my life, there is no question about it,” the Domino’s Pizza employee said.
