Police: Suspected robber arrested after barricading himself in home

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - Police have arrested a robbery suspect at a home in the Stone Mountain area after investigators said he barricaded himself in the house.

Officials said the man got away with money after he robbed an Ingles grocery store on Rockbridge Road.

He then barricaded himself inside a home on the 400 block of Prince of Wales. A SWAT team was called in to help with the situation.

Police eventually were able to take the man into custody.

Police have not yet released the suspect's identity.

No injuries have been reported.
