Suspect arrested after hours-long stand-off in DeKalb County

Police have arrested a murder suspect Tuesday after a four hour stand-off at a home in DeKalb County.
Authorities say 24-year-old Desean Martin Subar was taken into custody after officers received a tip about him being at a home in the 1400 block of Diamond Key in Stone Mountain.
Officers arrived on the scene at noon, and made attempts to negotiate with the suspect from outside of the home.
Three other people came out of the home and were detained for questioning. Subar, who police say was hiding in the attic, didn't respond to negotiations.
Four hours later, police say Subar emerged from the home and reportedly thanked officers for allowing him to peacefully turn himself in.
Nearby homes were evacuated during the standoff as a precaution.
No injuries were reported.
