Police: Serial burglar hits 5 businesses in 2 nights

Gwinnett police are asking the public for help identifying a man who they say burglarized multiple businesses in just two nights.

According to the Gwinnett Police Department Burglary Unit, on Feb. 8 and 19, the suspect stole computer equipment from five businesses in unincorporated Suwannee and Lawrenceville.

In total, officials said the burglar hit O’Leary Partners, CC Global, United Solutions, Lawrenceville Family Practice, and Bruster's Ice Cream. All of them were in the 1600, 1700, or 2000 block of Lawrenceville-Suwanee Rd.

Police described the suspect as a man between the ages of 20 and 30 years old. In one set of burglaries, he was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, T-shirt, and blue pants. In the other, he wore a "heavy jacket with reflective material," blue jeans, and black gloves.

Officials also believe that a beige Toyota Camry with a missing door handle on the rear passenger door on the driver's side is involved in the crimes.
