Investigators are trying to identify multiple persons of interest after a homicide Friday at a gas station in southwest Atlanta, according to Atlanta Police.

Police released photos asking for information that can lead to identifying the subjects. Authorities say the subjects were running from the vehicle in which the victim was found. They fled the scene heading south on Sylban Road, according to police.

Relatives identified the victim as 17-year-old Daronald Wilkerson.

The boy's parents, Tasandra Wilkerson and Donald Harris, along with other friends and relatives spoke with FOX 5's Marissa Mitchell Saturday.

They said Daronald was a rising senior at Benjamin E. Mays High School with dreams of becoming an entertainment executive.

Atlanta Police said four people, including the victim, were in a car before the shooting happened late Friday on Sylvan Road.

Harris told Mitchell his son was with an older brother and two friends when some type of disagreement broke out.

Investigators believe the shooter was in the car and fled the scene.

DaRonald's family held a vigil Saturday to honor the life of the teen. They'll remember him as a funny and kind boy who enjoyed rapping and hanging out with friends.

They're desperately pleading for the shooter to come forward.

"When I wake up, I can't even see him right now anymore. It hurts me," Wilkerson, Daronald's mother said."I think about him all the time. He was my heart. I love him."
