GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - The family of Amber Harding is pleading for the driver who hit and killed the 28-year-old to come forward.
"How can you leave a person, what kind of a person leaves a person," said Jamie Harding, the victim's sister.
Gwinnett County Police said Harding was crossing South Norcross Tucker Road at Graves Road just before 10 p.m. Tuesday.
"According to witness accounts the pedestrian was attempting to cross at the intersection at a ‘don't cross’ sign and at that point and time she was struck." said Cpl. Deon Washington with Gwinnett County Police.
Police are now looking for a Gold Honda Civic four door VTEC, investigators believe the vehicle has gold or yellow headlights and chrome rims, lowered to the ground with tinted windows. Detectives believe there is damage to the bumper, hood and windshield.
The Harding family said they do not have money to bury Amber Harding. They have setup this fundraising website: gofundme.com/355ucyek
