Police alert neighbors of gunman on the loose

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. - Clayton County Police release a sketch of a violent home invasion suspect, and warn neighbors to be on the lookout. 

Authorities released an image of a man officers believe is behind the June 3 ordeal on Creekstone Way. Police said that evening, the man burst into a home, armed, and shot a man multiple times; another person was pistol-whipped by the suspect.

No word from police on why the man targeted the home, or if he knew the people inside.

Neighbors told FOX 5 off-camera, they heard gunshots, saw police rush to the area, and were told one of their neighbors suffered gunshot wounds.

Anyone with information on the crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers. Tipsters can remain anonymous and receive a reward up to $2,000.
