Police: Person struck in Clayton County crash

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. - Police are investigating a crash involving a pedestrian in Clayton County Friday morning. 

It happened on Riverdale Road just south of Interstate 285, where all lanes of traffic were blocked in both directions as police investigated the scene. 

Investigators confirm a person was hit and taken to the hospital. No word yet on the victim's condition.

Witnesses told FOX 5 they think it was a hit and run.
