ATLANTA - A female was found stabbed at the baseball field on Emory University's main campus on Sunday evening, according to Emory University Police.
Investigators tell FOX 5 the woman was stabbed at another location and then she was dropped off on the Emory University campus.
Emory Police received a call at 7:01 pm of a stabbing at main Emory campus baseball field. EPD, emergency medical responded to scene. There was a female victim, who was stabbed and transported to Grady hospital. No further information available at this time.— Emory University (@EmoryUniversity) June 25, 2018
The victim was taken to Grady Hospital.
Some Students said around 7 p.m. they received a cell phone alert telling them to shelter in place.
Emory officials said the woman is not affiliated with the University. There is no word on the woman's condition.
Police have said they issued an all-clear later Sunday night and lifted the shelter in place warning.
