Police searching for answers after 3-year-old girl found overnight, alone
CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Clayton County Police are looking for answers after a 3-year-old girl was found alone overnight Friday.
The girl named "Kaci" was found in the area of Bimini Drive in Forest Park.
Police said she was wearing a pink shirt, gray jeans, and purple socks.
Clayton County Police confirmed to FOX 5 that they found the parents Friday afternoon.
In a statement police said the following:
"Kaci was left in the care of a babysitter. Kaci's mother called to check on her daughter and when the sitter noticed Kaci was not in the residence. Kaci has been turned over to DFACS and they will determine whether Kaci can be released back to her mother."
The investigation continues.
