Police: men steals cell phones, assaults employees

LAGRANGE, Ga. - Police in LaGrange needs the public’s help identifying two men investigators said assaulted workers and tried to steal cell phones.

It happened early Saturday morning at the Walmart on New Franklin Road.

According to police, the men smashed a glass cabinet to take the phones, but an employee stopped them.

Officers said the men assaulted the employee and then ran out a back door. They left in what looks like a red Honda Accord, according to police.
