Police: Marcos Pizza employee shot during attempted robbery

- A Marco's Pizza manager is recovering after someone shot him in the chest.

Police were called to the 4000 block of Five Forks Trickum Road late Monday night.

"Shortly after 10 p.m. we got a call to a person shot call," Gwinnett County Police Corporal Deon Washington said. "Officers responded and found a man shot and laying in the middle of the parking lot."

Gwinnett County Police confirm victim, Quinn Harned was shot once.

"He told responding officers that it hurt to talk, but he still managed to give us a few details," Washington said. "He reported that he was approached by a black male dressed in all black who attempted to rob him."

Medics rushed Harned to Gwinnett Medical Center where they expect him to survive.

As of Tuesday afternoon, Gwinnett County Police said there were no suspects in custody.

"We are talking with other stores in this shopping complex to see if they have surveillance video that may help in the investigation," Washington said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Gwinnett County Police Department at 770-513-5300. Crime Stoppers Atlanta is offering up to a $2,000 reward for any information leading to an arrest.
