Police: Man shot after argument about a female

- A man was shot in the leg and stomach after an argument with another man over their relationship with a female, according to the Fulton County Police Department.

Ray Patterson suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Grady Hospital, according to police. The suspect involved with shooting Patterson was identified as 33-year-old Brandon Paul Vincent by Fulton County police.

The incident occurred on Monday. During the argument, Vincent  fired one shot from the backseat of the vehicle striking Patterson before fleeing the scene, according to police.

An arrest warrant was issued for Vincent. The City of Morrow Police, Clayton County Sheriff’s Office, Henry County Sheriff’s Office and Henry County Police Department served the arrest warrant at the Days Inn Hotel in Morrow. Vincent was arrested without incident. Vincent was charged with aggravated assault.

Three other suspects were arrested, and all had outstanding warrants, according to police. Those suspects with Aaron Harris, Shanna Jones, and Kelly Whitaker, according to police. Harris was arrested for family violence/battery, and Jones and Whitaker were arrested for probation violation, according to police.
