Police are hoping surveillance video will help them identify a suspect in a Gwinnett County bank robbery.

On Friday, Jan. 11 around 5 p.m., a man walked into a Chase Bank on the 3700 block of Old Norcross Road and asked to open an account.

He left the bank before an employee was available, but police say he returned later with a "business card" in his mouth and a note demanding a large amount of cash.

The teller told police that the suspect tapped something metal on the counter that she thought was a gun, even though she did not see a weapon.

The man received an unknown amount of money and fled on foot.

If you have any information that can help with the case, police are asking you to contact Gwinnett County detectives at 770-513-5300 or Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477.
