Police: Man jumps from 22nd floor of Downtown Atlanta hotel

ATLANTA - Authorities are the on the scene of an apparent suicide at the Hyatt Regency in Downtown Atlanta Wednesday afternoon.

Atlanta police said a man jumped from the 22nd floor of the hotel located at 265 Peachtree Street.

Officials said the man has died. They are currently investigating it at as suicide.

The incident caused some traffic back up immediately in front of the hotel. 

SKYFOX 5 flew over the scene and found fire trucks and other emergency officials in the area.
