COWETA COUNTY, Ga. - Police K-9’s from all across the state are working hard to bring down the bad guys in Coweta County.
Pretend bad guys dressed up to assist the dogs and their human partners in police training.
It is called Mantracker Training and this is the county’s 25th year hosting the event.
More than 600 federal, state, and local officers as well as their dogs participated this year.
There is special focus put on how to handle dangerous domestic calls that according to the sheriff are so often responsible for police deaths.
Throughout the three-day training, K-9’s also practiced how to assist in arrests, and drug and bomb detection.
