Police identify suspect and victim in Gwinnett County homicide

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. - Gwinnett County Police are looking for Perth Earl, who is accused of killing the mother of his children Angela Burnett, 37, at a home early Friday.

Police tell Fox 5 someone from outside Gwinnett County called them about a domestic situation at the couple's house on Phil Niekro Parkway in unincorporated Norcross. When police arrived at the house around 2 a.m., they found Burnett's body and her three children upstairs. They add the children, including two children under the age of 10 and a special needs adult, were unharmed.

Earl, 39, has active warrants for malice murder, felony murder, and aggravated assault. 

Police say they have responded to the home on domestic incidents in the past. And there's a possibility the Earl may try to flee the state, according to authorities.
