DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - DeKalb County Police picked up three men for questioning after a man was shot in the parking lot of a warehouse in DeKalb County.
"It's been a tough morning. We've never had anything like this happen. All we know is this was one of our temporary employees hired for the holidays and he was shot here in the parking lot, said Ellen Frachtman of Mud Pie, a gift and apparel manufacturing company located on Lewis Road near Mountain Industrial Boulevard.
DeKalb Police say the 911 calls started coming in at 11:30 a.m. Shortly after police arrived, witnesses gave officers a description of three men who left in a car that was spotted not far from the warehouse.
"We believe one of the three men is the shooter in this case, but at this point, we're still tried to figure out who and what the motive was," said Sergeant Brian Danner of the DeKalb County Police Department.
Sergeant Danner declined to release the victim's name but said the victim, a man in his 20s, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and should make a full recovery.
