Police: Convicted felons caught with stolen mail

ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Atlanta Police catch two convicted felons in possession of hundreds of pieces of stolen mail and tools to break into vehicles.

Officers just released the video of the encounter

Investigators say officers spotted Alonza Hunt and Terrance Logan looking into cars on Peachtree Street early Tuesday morning.

When they saw the police officers they took off running.

Officers eventually caught up to the two.

Investigators believe the men pried open the mailboxes in the lobby of 800 Peachtree Street to get the mail.

Police say they've arrested those two men more than two dozen times.
