Police arrest three in connection to deadly armed robbery

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - DeKalb County police have arrested three people in a deadly armed robbery.

Police said Luz Velequez and her husband were ambushed at the Woodcrest Village apartment in Lithonia on Friday night.

Investigators said the suspects lured the couple to buy a cell phone using an app.

Shots were fired during that meeting and Velequez was killed.

Police have arrested 42-year-old Jamel Harris, 17-year-old Jakerius Henry and a juvenile.
