ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - A gas station clerk in Alabama wasn't about to let robbers get away from his store.
The Huntsville Police Department released the footage of the March 16 incident, which took place at a Conoco convenience store at 3:15 a.m.
When a man armed with a knife tried to rob him the clerk pulled out a machete and went after the man and his female accomplice, identified as 33-year-old Laney Nicholson.
The robber, identified by police as 32-year-old Seth Holcomb, took off running and unnamed clerk chased him outside.
The clerk then smacks the machete on their getaway car and broke the windshield.
But while the clerk was doing that, the robber ran back into the store and grabs the cash register before taking off.
Police caught them a short time later.
Amazingly, no one was seriously hurt.
