Photo released of man wanted for passing bad checks

ATHENS, Ga. - Athens-Clarke County Police are looking for a man they believe passed bad checks.

Police released pictures of the man investigators said passed forged checks at banks in McDonough and Covington.

Police said he presented the checks with a driver's license that was stolen during a car break-in at Ben Burton Park in Athens.

The forgery suspect wrote the victim's name on the checks.
