Photo may help authorities solved ambush killing of two men

WALTON COUNTY, Ga. - A photo of a dirt bike released Wednesday by the Walton County Sheriff's Office could be the key to solving the ambush killing of two men.

Investigators said Cortez White and Davoddren Harris, both in their 20s, met a man and a teenager to sell that motorcycle, but instead were found dead Monday afternoon along Clegg Farm Road near Social Circle. Both had been shot multiple times and appeared to have crashed while trying to get away. The bike was nowhere to be found.

Authorities arrested the teenager, but are hoping someone will spot the bike in the Social Circle area which will lead them to the second suspect in the case.

Authorities are offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of others involved in the murders.
