Pedestrian fatally struck by vehicle in Marietta parking lot
MARIETTA, Ga. - A pedestrian was fatally hit by a vehicle in the parking lot of a Restaurant Depot in Marietta, police said. The Marietta Police Department has identified the victim as 66-year-old Stephen Snook.
Police say Snook was walking north through the parking lot of 1803 Roswell Road.
A 2016 Freightliner Tractor Trailer, operated by 54-year-old Pierre Poteau of Lawrenceville, Georgia, was traveling westbound through the parking lot and struck Snook, according to police.
No charges have been filed.
