ATLANTA (FOX 5 Atlanta) - Parking in Atlanta was at an extreme premium Sunday during the Super Bowl.
FOX 5 News spotted several businesses around downtown with posted fares more than $100 for both parking and valet services.
One business was asking $150 for valet parking along Marietta Street, just blocks from Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Another downtown lot was charging $200 for self-parking.
But parking wasn’t just an issue downtown. MARTA had put out an advisory around 2 p.m. Sunday listing five parking lot at capacity and three more 80 percent or more full. They also advised their overflow lots were full.
