Pair of thieves break into DeKalb disabled vet's car

DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - Thieves ransacked a disabled veteran's car to steal his credit cards, cash, driver's license, and gun permit.

The theft happened at a house off of Treehaven Court in DeKalb County.

The crooks not only went through the veteran's car, but also a work truck parked on the road.

Surveillance footage captured from outside the victim's home shows two men leaving the neighborhood, then returning to look through the army veteran's vehicle.

"To see this happen, you know, it's heartbreaking. And then when I saw the footage of young kids wasting their life like that," The veteran told FOX 5. "Sometime you have to be careful, you know, they keep that up their life is not going to last long."

As of now the men have not been found.

Police are still investigating.
