The man, who Fulton County officials said had nearly a hundred dogs inside his home, is now looking at thousands of dollars in fines and probation time.

Back in December, firefighters discovered around 97 dogs in the 2,000 square foot home on Lori Lane.

Authorities arrested the homeowner on 53-counts of misdemeanor animal cruelty charges.

He now has received an $8,600 fine, 30 months of probation, and cannot have another animal for 10 years.

The dogs have been fostered out and are now thriving, according to LifeLine Animal Project which runs the Fulton County animal shelter.
