ATLANTA - Atlanta Police have made an arrest in a shooting that happened in Atlanta's Old Fourth Ward neighborhood.
Gunfire erupted just before 5:30 Saturday afternoon in Renaissance Park near the intersection of Piedmont Avenue and Renaissance Parkway.
Witnesses told police that two men, possibly both homeless, got into an argument when one shot the other.
The shooter ran off, but officers received a tip about his location and later took him into custody.
Medics took the victim to Grady Memorial hospital, where he is said to be in stable condition.
The identity of the suspect and victim have not been released.
