One person was killed in a vehicle crash in Marietta on Sunday, according to Cobb County Police. 66-year-old Bruce Barker was pronounced dead on the scene of the collision.

Authorities say a white 1996 Ford Ranger was traveling southbound on South Cobb Drive and a red 2012 Ford Mustang was traveling northbound.

Barker was driving the Ford Ranger, which turned left on a private drive off South Cobb Drive when the front of the Mustang collided with the right side of the Ranger, according to police.

Jabriel Wooden, 21, was the driver of the Mustang, and was transported to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, according to police.

The collision remains under investigation, and authorities say speed is a possible contributing factor.  Anyone with information about this collision is asked to call 770-499-3987.
