Man arrested for shooting death at popular DeKalb County restaurant

- A man wearing a bulletproof vest is dead and two men wounded, after police said two men fired shots at each other at the popular at the Wats Crackin’ Garlic Crabs restaurant in DeKalb County.

The ordeal happened around 9:30 p.m. at the 368 Candler Road location when police said a man in a bulletproof vest, later identified by police as 23-year-old Robert Campbell, followed 42-year-old Travis Allen outside of the restaurant to continue an argument started inside.

Police said the argument escalated into an exchange of gunfire resulting in Campbell being killed. Allen suffered minor injuries.

A third innocent bystander was injured and was taken by a personal vehicle to an area hospital, according to police. That person suffered minor injuries.

It was not immediately clear what the two were arguing about.

Police have charged Allen with murder.

The restaurant stated on their Facebook page that neither person was affiliated with the establishment.
