Woman struck, killed by two cars in Alpharetta

ALPHARETTA, Ga. - A woman has died after being struck by two vehicles while crossing the road in Alpharetta. 

It happened on North Point Parkway Thursday morning, just south of Kimball Bridge Road. 

According to the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety, Ramona Devore, 58, of Jonesboro, had just gotten off a MARTA bus and was headed to work when she was hit by two cars while attempting to cross North Point Parkway. She was pronounced dead at the scene. 

"Our hearts go out to the victim, her friends, and family," Alpharetta DPS said on Twitter. 

Both drivers remained on scene after the accident. Police don't expect the drivers to face any charges.
