Officers looking for suspect with 'Do or Die' hoodie

The Atlanta Police Department needs your help identifying a man they say is a suspect in a shooting last week on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.

Police say that the shooting happened around 8:45 p.m. on Jan. 11 in the 800 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.

The two victims, a 19-year-old and a 20-year-old, first came into contact with the suspect in a nearby store, police said.

Then, while the victims were in their vehicle talking with friends the suspect approached them and "there was an exchange of words," according to officials.

It wasn't long after that police say the suspect shot into the car, hitting both occupants. The victims fled before getting a wreck on Northside Drive.

Both victims are now recovering from the shooting at a nearby hospital.

Police say that the suspect was wearing a hoodie with a large design on its back that included the phrase "Do or Die," as well as lettering on the jacket's wrists and side of the hood.
