HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (AP) — Forecasters have confirmed that at least two weak tornadoes touched down in northern Alabama as thunderstorms swept across the state on Saturday.
The National Weather Service in Huntsville said preliminary reports indicate two twisters touched down — one in Franklin County and the other in Colbert County. No injuries were reported.
Both tornadoes were rated EF-0 — the lowest level on the Enhanced Fujita Tornado Damage Scale.
