Norcross family displaced after tree falls onto home

NORCROSS, Ga. - A Norcross family has been displaced after a large tree fell onto their home Tuesday, damaging the home.

It happened in the 5100 block of Second Street around 8:52 a.m.

Gwinnett County fire officials say no one was injured in the incident, but the home was deemed uninhabitable.

There were also power lines down in the immediate area, officials said.

The Red Cross is assisting the displaced family—two adults and child.

Georgia Power and fire crews are on the scene.
