Mother of 12-year-old Cobb County boy shot in home makes emotional plea
COBB COUNTY, Ga. - A mother said she is desperate for answers after her little boy was shot in the stomach while inside his own home.
It happened last Friday at a home off White Boulevard in Cobb County. Police said the 12-year-old boy was shot from outside while standing in his home.
The boy was rushed to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite where he remained Wednesday when FOX 5’s Jaclyn Schultz spoke with his mother, Shamena Wooten.
Neighbors said they heard the single gunshot and then saw more than a dozen police cars parked outside a home on their street.
