Time-lapsed video shot in Leigh, Nebraska shows the Northern Lights Tuesday night.
The Aurora Borealis, which is the scientific term for Northern Lights, interacted with earth's magnetic field creating a dense solar stream of protons that could be seen as far south as Nebraska.
Residents in the central and northern parts of the United States, who are far away from light pollution of the coastal cities, were able to enjoy the delightful views through Tuesday night.
